Weddings at the Scully Estate

The Scully Estate's 70-acres of wildlife sanctuary and unique Normandy-style chateau provide a beautiful backdrop for weddings. The building's first floor features a large main room, plus four dramatic side rooms arranged around an arcade hallway. It also features a rear walled-in terrace (that can be tented), a front stone patio, large public restrooms, prep-kitchen and an available bridal suite.  MG 1076

Weddings at the Scully Estate are limited to several weekends each year. The facility can accommodate wedding ceremonies and/or receptions. Indoor ceremonies/receptions are limited to approximately 75 people; weddings that take advantage of the outdoor areas, especially the walled terrace, can be expanded to approximately 160 people.

There is no on-site indoor cooking available at the Scully Estate. Grills and other outdoor cooking equipment is permitted. Only vendors from the Suffolk County Parks Department's Approved Caterer List may provide catering services for private events at the Scully Estate.

The rental agreement and fee for weddings reflects the fact that these special events are demanding on both the facility and staff, including an understanding that the couple will require access to the facility for several days to decorate, rehearse, etc. The facilty's primary purpose as a public nature center is paramount and must be respected.

The Scully Estate is also available for wedding photography, both indoors and out.
